Lesson 3 discusses the importance of manipulating your lens to get a great photo.

Lesson 2 - Shuttter Speed/Aperture

Lesson 2 was to experiment with shutter speed and aperture settings. The shutter speed shots are shown below.

1/250 second while cleaning lemons and limes.

8 seconds of flashlight fun :) Who knew I could write backwards that well!

Lesson 1 - Abstract and General Rules

Lesson 1 focused on the concept of abstract photography and applying some general rules. Here are some shots I have taken recently that seem to be pretty abstract. Let me know how these can be improved.

Stop Sign as seen through a decorative brick wall in Kemah, TX. I photoshopped the picture to enhance the sign's presence.

Driving a long the road in Kemah, TX the same day, I saw this mailbox. I decided to stop the car in the middle of the road and take this picture from the drivers seat. I like the strange colors.

The horses were very photogenic on this cold December day in Tennessee. Although, they were to lazy to lower their heads to see me.
